Baby Shower Diaper Cake

This "cake" is a bit different than my normal designs, since it's actually made out of diapers! I sewed the blanket and bibs so that they would match the white and black damask with blue accent theme.

Here is a close up of the bibs I sewed for the "fender" and "seat" of the motorcycle:

   When making my sister's baby shower cake, I needed a black and white damask theme with blue accents.  I decided on a fondant black and white antique buggy over a blue draped fondant cake with damask undercarriage. Although it was a world record muggy summer day and the fondant and sugar paper decided to melt a little, it still turned into a beautiful baby shower cake for my beautiful sister. 

This year, I decided to try something new, so I made jumbo sized cookie cupcakes for mother's day. Since my mother adores roses, I topped them with buttercream roses.

         My son LOVES trains. For the past 3 years of his life, I have wanted to make cupcakes with a very classic train look for him. This year, I created cupcake wrappers that actually looked like circus train cars and topped the cupcakes with animals and my son as a train engineer. I rainbow swirled the icing to follow along with the circus look of the train cars. They turned out adorable and all the kids loved receiving their own train car with circus animal.

All the kids in our family are Angry Bird crazy so, these angry bird themed cupcakes I made turned out to be a hit!

Pokemon Cake

After changing her mind about the theme several times, my daughter asked for a Pokemon themed cake this year. It had to be pink of course, so I made a super-pink sheet cake and used printed sugar paper to put the pokemon graphic I made in the center.
