Rainbow swirled cupcakes for a birthday party thrown for a girl and boy. What I love about these, is they each turn out just a little different then the next. Some with more yellows, more blues, more red and greens, etc. They had confetti spotted cupcakes underneath to match.

Baby Shower Garden Flower Mini-Cakes 2012
I made these fondant flowered mini-cakes for a tea-party baby shower. There are two of each kind of flower. They each had 3 layers of round mini-cake, covered in cream cheese icing.

Wise-guy Cupcakes 2012
This cupcake stand I made for my Father who is in truth a very wise man. He has always put his family first and showed us how love can keep a family strong. To illustrate this in a comical way (he's always loved a good joke!), I put together an owl-themed stand under the heading "Happy Birthday to a real wise-guy!"

This cake was for two mario fan brothers. It had both of their names in mario question boxes and was topped with mario figurines.

Castle Cake 2012
For my daughter, who loves all things princess, I made a 3D hot pink castle cake. Complete with 3 Disney princesses, 10 towers, and candy hearts it was a sight to behold!

Ninja Cake 2012
This cake has a "ninja" theme with Lego martial art characters on top and a sword right through the cake. The edible fondant throwing-stars have "Happy Birthday" written in Chinese characters. This is the first time I worked with an edible silver-spray made by Wilton. It turned out to be the perfect thing to make my throwing-stars look like they had a metal finish to them.

Special Occasion Cakes 2011
This cake has a "ninja" theme with Lego martial art characters on top and a sword right through the cake. The edible fondant throwing-stars have "Happy Birthday" written in Chinese characters. This is the first time I worked with an edible silver-spray made by Wilton. It turned out to be the perfect thing to make my throwing-stars look like they had a metal finish to them.
This cake is a 3D soccar ball cake I made at the request of a local mom. The inside is "tie-dye" but unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the inside! It's the first cake I've done that had a 3D element in the design instead of just having a fondant 3D item. It was very tall, about 6-8 inches including the ball part.
I designed this cake to match a set of party supplies with a cute jungle animals theme. It has fondant leaves and vines, buttercream icing over a yellow cake with an edible image in the center.
I made this cake for my mother who loves the ocean and the beach. She loved all the attention to detail on the marine life! Her favorite color is yellow, therefore all the yellow beach things!
For my father's 51st birthday, I created a "Nifty Fifties" stand of cupcakes. The poundcake fries and icing ketchup and mustard really added a realistic feel!
This stand of cupcakes was created for my daughter who wanted a "hot pink" Cinderella princess cake.
I created this cake to match what my sister wanted for her son's "Curious George" birthday party.

My Dragon Face
I painted my own face for the first time (not counting Halloween!) for a "How to train your dragon" themed birthday party. The kids loved it and were eager for me to create their own dragon faces.
My Latest Cheek Paintings
These are the cheek paintings I've been working on to get prepared for the 5 year old birthday party I just painted for. There were 15-20 guests so it needed to be quick designs.
